The documentary centers on the little-known “Casa Francesa” (“French House”) at the port of Mar del Plata, a century-old building located at the corner of 12 de Octubre and Avenida de los Trabajadores. The house is a nerve center in the construction of the port, and at the same time a space where many strands of the city’s unofficial history converge. Its stone walls hold countless events, stories, experiences, rises and falls. Artists, sailors, prostitutes, engineers, workers, and tycoons populate its more than one hundred years of history.
