Mission

Negra40 is a core group of people devoted to the arts, sciences, graphic design and architecture, interested in promoting, producing and disseminating new forms of creation and thought that engage with the major challenges facing contemporary culture.

The group works as a self-funded cooperative, sustained by its members and by the support of allies who accompany our projects. Since our beginnings in August 2013, we have organized festivals, concerts, talks, workshops, power walks, and sound and territorial actions across different regions of Argentina, Latin America and Europe. Most of these projects seek to foreground the notions of territory, community, listening and creative practices of coexistence, acknowledging the many ways of being alive. We aim to promote cross-disciplinary actions that help us find other ways of facing the ecological and political crisis running through our present.
