Day 2: Sound Installation
- Date
- 17 April 2021
“Canto Llano” by Martín Virgili (2018)
What can we learn from sound if we move a little beyond aesthetics and acoustics? What might listening whisper to us when we try to hear the great cycles of the skies, of the cosmos that saw us born, will see us die, and will surely die itself one day? What mysterious lessons does matter teach us through its rhythms, its fragility and hardness, its ancient and future laws?
Canto Llano is an outdoor sound installation nourished by these questions, one that, from its roots, simply seeks to remember our relative position within the ever-changing universe.
